Kaffy who clocked 40 this year is still fit and strong enough to move to the beats. She also has several awards to her credit. She has featured in musical videos of Top artists like Tiwa savage, Dbang and P-Square. Kaffy has featured on the Malta Guinness Street Dance show as a Judge, Project Fame West Africa as a Faculty Member and Dance with Peter as a Judge and Faculty Instructor.

She started the 'Dance Workshop' in 2017, a dance convention aimed at training professional dancers and also promoting cultural exchange within the Nigerian dance industry. She made a name for herself in the Guinness book of records in 2006 when she lead her group to dance for 55 hours and 40 minutes. She used to take regular dancing lessons at National stadium where someone spotted her, took her for an onstage performance and her dancing career took off from there. She attended Yaba college of technology then went on to obtain a diploma from Olabisi Onabanjo university.
She had her primary school education in Chrisland Schools, Opebi and secondary school education in Orile - iganmu, Lagos. When she was younger, Kaffy wanted to be an Aeronautic Engineer. Kaffy never thought she would make a career out of dancing. She founded the Imagneto Dance Company, a dance group based in Lagos. She is a dancer, choreographer, fitness instructor and dance instructor. Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, popularly known by her stage name, kaffy, was born on 30th of June, 1980.
In 2006, Kaffy, dancer and choreographer broke the Guinness book of records for ''Longest Dance Party'' when she and her Team danced for 55hours and 40 minutes.įor some, dancing may just be a talent and an hobby, but Kaffy has made a name and a career for herself in it.
